Danny Avidan (b. 1989)  was born in Kingston, Jamaica and is now based in Italy and France. Avidan's works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including in Italy, Germany, Spain and Mexico. His paintings explore the relations of the body, gender, and nature in the pursuit of transcendence. Drawing inspiration from myth and legends, Avidan weaves archetypal models and stories into his creations, offering an exploration of the human psyche and its connection to his own biography.
